R42N Simplified Chinese
I tried this rom just for a day. It seems to have the following advantages compared with all the other:
- English T9
- An useful chinese calendar java program
- You can finally disable channel broadcasting in order to not receive any more weird network messages

Is similar to the other R42N, but is targeted to Taiwan.

R44 Traditional Chinese
This is a firmware for the 8390. It have the following advantages compared with all the other:
- It's GAPI fixed (don't install Picard's Gapi2Gdi patch!!!)
- An useful chinese calendar java program ;)
- You can finally disable channel broadcasting in order to not receive any more weird network messages
"Bugs" compared with other roms:
- ONLY chinese and english
- NO T9 support
- When you take a photo, the shutter sound occurs even if in Silent mode and with earpiece volume set to zero. (There's a workaround)

I haven't tried this rom yet So, advantages are:

Differences compared with other roms:
- Seems to be an hacked-enhanced R45 by an enthusiast fan
- "A sponsored by ioicn" logo appears at startup
- Full of chinese software
